Decision Making Rules Progress monitoring: To be administered bi-weekly for Tier 2 students and weekly for Tier 3 students.
Maintain the Program If the student has 3 or more data points showing improvement, maintain the program.
Change the Program If the student has 3 or more data points showing little or no improvement, change the intervention within the tier they are currently in (instruction, one-on-one instruction). After changing the intervention, go 3-4 more data points. If the student begins showing progress continue the program as is. If the student is not showing any progress meet with the RtI team to begin planning additional interventions.
Discontinue the Intervention If the student has 6 or more data points showing performance at grade level, discontinue the intervention.
